Our client is a large producer of video games, consoles and gaming accessories. They have started a tech driven initiative to modernise and reorganise the way of creating their european web presence. It is used as a hub for marketing, customer care as well as distribution of their products in Europe.
This initiative included a new architecture, new processes, new designs and the introduction of a WYSIWYG content editing tool. When Spaceteams was called in to support this initiative, our customer had already started working on some parts, e.g. newly designed website components. However, the teams were struggling to make visible progress with the overall plan.

SCOPE
Proof of concept defined.
We focussed on finding a minimal feature set in each area of the initiative, which would allow us to test whether the overall plan can work out. This meant: one page type, with a minimum set of components - such as headline, image and text -, minimal infrastructure, including branch deployment and connecting the WYSIWYG content editor to the workflow.
Technical breakthrough achieved.
As a result, we were able to connect all loose ends and implement the minimum required workflow, tools and connections, which allowed for the creation of a simple newspage. The client now has a functional software solution which links all key parts of their initiative. Based on this, they can proceed to extend the workflows until they are able to create their entire web presence in the new way.
