Our client machtfit offers a platform to provide employee health benefits and connect health providers and companies who offer these benefits to their employees. This platform was hosted on-premise.
Given their growth strategy the on-premise solution formed a hurdle for machtfit when it came to operational overhead and scaling on demand. So they wanted to migrate to the cloud, to benefit from the flexible options the cloud offered. But they felt that they lacked time and knowledge to efficiently do the migration on their own.

SCOPE
Starting with the status quo.
In order to properly benefit from a cloud solution processes and systems shouldn't all just be migrated as they are. So we started by assessing the status quo and compared that with best practices for cloud-readiness. We were able to identify strengths and gaps of their existing structure and aligned with machtfit on their plans and future needs. With these insights we created architecture diagrams and task breakdowns to visualise the necessary steps as well as the goal infrastructure.
Always keeping an eye on the goal.
With an aligned understanding of the clients’ needs as well as their main goal of flexible scaling, we were able to build the foundation for their cloud migration initiative. Based on which they can begin testing and building up knowledge about cloud solutions.
