Working in teams is the foundation of our company. As a new crew member, you will play a crucial role as part of Spaceteams in Sales to successfully market our software services and drive our organic growth. We are looking for you as an experienced Sales Manager to acquire new customers and maintain existing relationships. In this role, you will work very closely with our CEO Olaf and COO Basti and regularly liaise with our teams.

About your job

You are a Sales Manager (all genders) Software Services. You will be responsible for our sales strategy, sales and the first direct contact with potential customers.

  • are an entrepreneur at heart and prioritise the commercial success of our projects as well as the success and satisfaction of our customers.
  • bring expertise from hunting and develop new sales strategies to sell and implement our software services in a tailor-made way.
  • have your finger on the pulse and regularly scrutinise our range of services, sound out the market, recognise new potential and business opportunities and pitch your ideas for business growth to the C-level.
  • actively build up customer relationships in the IT services sector, proactively maintain them in terms of strategic farming and continuously fill our sales funnel.
  • develop sales strategies to sell our tailored software services.
  • present our individual software services to customers and accompany initial sales meetings.
  • work closely with the C-level and take responsibility for increasing sales and achieving sales targets.
  • strategically position us in the best possible way to participate in attractive tenders and also sound out and process public participation competitions here.
  • take an active part in trade fairs and industry events to make new contacts.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

  • has at least 4 years of professional experience in sales with proven acquisition success in the field of software development projects.
  • has a strong desire to develop and implement our sales strategy independently.
  • has sound expertise in IT service sales.
  • has experience in selling complex consulting and software development services that require explanation in a B2B environment.
  • communicates very good in both German (C1 certificate) and English.

Nice-to-have:

  • you are ideally very well networked and have a strong understanding of trends and developments in the software and IT environment.
  • you are communicative, assertive and outgoing.
  • is willing to attend face-to-face meetings in Hamburg a few times per month, while primarily working remotely.
